When staying grounded has a P&L attached.
Master performance breathwork to control the state your work depends on.
Anchor is not meditation, and it is not wellness. It is a tool for the ninety seconds before the moment matters, and the recovery after. Five protocols, scored against your own baseline.
Five drills for five moments.
Each protocol is built for a specific situation and a specific state change. Open the one the moment calls for, breathe to the guide, and go.
Pre-Pitch
For the ninety seconds before the moment matters. Steady the hands, clear the head, and walk in level.
Deep Work
Settle into a slow, even rhythm that sets the state for a focus block. Run it before you start, not after you stall.
Negotiation
Lower your arousal in a hot conversation without losing the thread. Quiet enough that no one across the table notices.
Reset
The fastest way back to baseline between two meetings. A few breaths, and the charge comes off.
Recovery
Close the day down on purpose. Put down the meeting you have been carrying since 4pm, and stop bringing it home.
Two numbers. Today, and the reserve behind it.
Readiness tells you what you have right now. Capacity tells you what you have built. One bad night should not erase a disciplined month.
Readiness
A four-dimension morning check-in (Energy, Focus, Tension, Motivation) combined with overnight HRV from Apple Health. It sets the tone for what Anchor suggests that day.
Capacity
Your rolling reserve over the last two to four weeks. It rewards consistency and forgives the occasional rough day, so the number reflects the practice, not the moment.
It reads your HRV. It never writes a thing.
Anchor pulls heart-rate variability from Apple Health to ground your Readiness score in physiology, not just self-report. The connection is read-only, and it is not limited to Apple Watch.
Privacy and Terms.

Terms of Service
Effective date: June 24, 2026. Last updated: June 24, 2026.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Anchor mobile application for iOS (the "App"). Please read them carefully. Section 11 (Health and Medical Disclaimer) and Section 13 (Limitation of Liability) affect your legal rights.
1. Who we are, and acceptance
1.1 The parties. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and James Montgomery Design Inc., a company incorporated in the Province of British Columbia, Canada, operating as Satellite Design Studio ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
1.2 Acceptance. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, and that you accept the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Definitions
- "App" means the Anchor mobile application for iOS and all updates and content provided with it.
- "Apple" means Apple Inc. and its subsidiaries.
- "Subscription" means a recurring paid plan that unlocks the full features of the App.
- "You" means the person using the App.
3. Eligibility
3.1 Age. The App is rated 17+ and is intended for adults. By using the App you represent that you are at least 17 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3.2 Medical suitability. You are responsible for confirming that breathwork is appropriate for you. See Section 11.
4. What Anchor is, and what it is not
4.1 What it is. Anchor is a self-guided breathwork application. It provides timed breathing protocols, a personalized practice plan, a daily readiness score, and a longer-term capacity measure. With your permission, it reads heart-rate variability and related metrics from Apple Health to inform your score.
4.2 What it is not. Anchor is not a medical device, is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition, and is not a substitute for professional medical care, mental-health care, therapy, or the advice of a qualified clinician.
5. No accounts
The App does not require you to create an account. Your data is stored locally on your device, as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds
6.1 Plans. The App offers a monthly Subscription at $14.99 USD per month and an annual Subscription at $99 USD per year. Each plan includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Prices may vary by region and are shown in the App before you purchase.
6.2 Billing through Apple. All purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase or, for a free trial, at the end of the trial period.
6.3 Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
6.4 Managing and cancelling. You can manage your Subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, in your App Store account settings. Cancelling stops future charges and keeps access until the end of the paid period.
6.5 Free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the Subscription begins and the applicable fee is charged. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a Subscription.
6.6 Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple, and refunds are subject to Apple's policies. We do not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases. Refund requests are made through Apple.
7. Licence
We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple EULA and these Terms. We retain all rights not expressly granted.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, resell, or distribute the App, and not to use it in any unlawful way or in any way that interferes with its operation.
9. Intellectual property
The App, including its design, text, graphics, audio, and software, is owned by the Company or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.
10. Apple App Store terms
These Terms are between you and the Company, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. To the extent the Apple EULA applies, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App.
11. Health and medical disclaimer
11.1 Not medical advice. The App provides general breathwork exercises and educational content for performance and relaxation. It does not provide medical advice and is not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment by a qualified professional.
11.2 Consult a professional. Consult a physician before beginning any breathwork practice, especially if you are pregnant or have a cardiovascular condition, a respiratory condition, low blood pressure, a history of fainting or seizures, an anxiety or panic disorder, or any other condition that may be affected by changes in breathing.
11.3 Practise safely. Breathwork can cause lightheadedness or dizziness. Practise only while seated or lying down in a safe place. Never practise while driving, operating machinery, in or near water, or anywhere a brief loss of awareness could cause harm.
11.4 Not for emergencies. The App is not for use in a medical or mental-health emergency. If you are in crisis, or may harm yourself or others, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line immediately.
11.5 Assumption of risk. You use the App and its exercises at your own risk.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error free, or that any particular result will be achieved.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of the above may not apply to you.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company and its operators from any claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the App or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
15. Changes
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above. Your continued use of the App after the changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
16. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
17. Governing law and disputes
17.1 Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
17.2 Forum. The courts located in British Columbia, Canada will have jurisdiction over any dispute, and you consent to that jurisdiction. Nothing in this section removes any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your own country or region.
17.3 Informal resolution. Before starting any formal proceeding, please contact us at hello@jamesmontgomerydesign.com so we can try to resolve the matter.
18. General
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Apple EULA are the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the App.

Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 24, 2026. Last updated: June 24, 2026.
This Privacy Policy explains how James Montgomery Design Inc. (operating as Satellite Design Studio) handles information in connection with the Anchor mobile application for iOS (the "App"). Anchor is built so that your information stays on your device. We do not run a backend server, we do not use analytics, and we do not transmit your health or usage data.
1. Summary
- We do not operate a backend server, and the App has no accounts.
- Health data (heart-rate variability and related metrics) is read from Apple Health read-only, used on your device, and never transmitted to us or anyone else.
- The App never writes to Apple Health.
- Everything you enter (check-ins, quiz answers, journal entries, streaks) is stored locally on your device.
- We do not collect analytics, telemetry, crash reports, or behavioural data, and we use no advertising or tracking SDKs.
- Subscriptions are processed by Apple, which receives the information needed to handle the purchase.
2. Scope
This policy applies to the Anchor iOS app. It does not apply to Apple's services or to any third-party service you use separately.
3. Apple Health (HealthKit)
With your explicit permission, the App reads heart-rate variability and related metrics from Apple Health to calculate your Readiness and Capacity scores. This access is read-only. The data is processed on your device and is never sent to us, never stored on a server, and never shared with any third party. The App does not write any data back to Apple Health. You can grant or revoke Health permissions at any time in the Health app or in Settings. Because Anchor reads from Apple Health rather than from one specific device, any wearable that writes heart-rate variability to Apple Health (for example Apple Watch, Whoop, Oura, Garmin, Polar, or Fitbit) can feed your score.
4. Information you enter into the App
The App does not require an account. Depending on the features you use, you may enter:
- Onboarding answers used to assign your archetype and build your plan.
- Daily check-ins (energy, focus, tension, motivation).
- Journal entries such as your wins and to-dos.
- Practice history, streaks, and preferences.
All of this is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage (SwiftData). None of it is transmitted to us or to any third party.
5. Information we collect
Because we do not operate a server, we do not collect or receive your personal information, health data, usage analytics, crash reports, device identifiers, IP address, location, contacts, or photos.
6. Subscriptions and the App Store
Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through your Apple account. Apple receives the information needed to complete and manage the transaction, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not receive your payment-card details, and we do not receive personal information that identifies you from these purchases.
7. Network activity
Your data stays on your device. The only outbound network activity is when you tap a link (for example to open this website or Apple's pages), which opens in your system browser. This website itself uses no analytics or tracking.
8. Third-party services
The App does not include third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, or social-media SDKs.
9. Children
The App is rated 17+ and is intended for adults. Because the App does not collect or transmit information to us, we do not knowingly hold information about anyone, including children.
10. How to delete your data
Because all of your data is stored locally, you control it. To remove everything the App holds, delete the App from your device. To stop Health access without deleting the App, revoke the permission in the Health app or in Settings.
11. Security
Your data lives on your device and is protected by your device's security, including your passcode and Apple's on-device protections. Because nothing is transmitted to us, there is no server-side copy of your data to secure.
12. International users
The App can be downloaded wherever the Apple App Store operates. Because we do not collect or transmit your information, no international transfer of your data to us takes place.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above. Your continued use of the App after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
