Privacy Policy
Chromatik is a precision colour tool for iPhone, made by James Montgomery Design Inc. This policy explains how Chromatik handles your information. The short version: it does not collect any.
Summary
Chromatik runs entirely on your device. There are no user accounts and no login. It does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. There are no analytics SDKs, no ad networks, and no third-party trackers.
Information we collect
None. Chromatik does not gather personal information about you, and it does not send any data off your device to us or to anyone else.
Data stored on your device
The colours, palettes, tags, and notes you save are stored locally on your device only. They remain under your control and are never uploaded to a server. If you delete the app, this locally stored data is removed with it.
Device permissions
Chromatik may ask for limited access to features of your device so that it can do its job. This access is used only at the moment you choose to use the related feature, and all processing happens on device. Nothing is uploaded.
- Photo library: if you choose to extract a palette from an image, Chromatik reads the image you select so it can sample colours from it.
- Clipboard: if you paste a HEX value, Chromatik reads the clipboard contents in order to interpret that value.
Analytics and tracking
There are none. Chromatik contains no analytics tools, advertising identifiers, or third-party tracking technologies, and it does not build a profile of you.
App Store privacy
On the App Store, Chromatik is listed with a Data Not Collected status, reflecting that the app does not collect data from this product.
Children
Because Chromatik collects no personal data and requires no account, it does not knowingly gather information from children or anyone else.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a revised effective date.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal data held about you. Because Chromatik holds no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on a server.
